Pakety Inn…!

Having visited any amount of back country huts in all my adult horse trekking life, most are comfortable so to speak, especially when outside its raining cats and dogs or worse snowing, but to date none have given this experience …

I dropped the pack horse and riding horse gear outside the hut, then took the horses down to the stream for a drink before popping them in the horse paddock, then thought its time for a cuppa…!

I walked into this hut and at once something odd was felt…. a bit like some sort of “presence“… hard to put my finger on an adequate description, but there was certainly something that my senses had picked up..

At first I thought.. its been a long day and a bit tired, so walked back out to the horses and its sort of left me… thats very odd I thought…

Walking back in, that same feeling reappeared… it didnt feel scary,, just a soft sort of presence…

Next day, I saddled the horse and we went for a day ride up onto a plateau called the ” Lazyman plateau”, a place on my bucket list so to speak, and on return later, and entering the hut, there it was once again…perhaps a ghost… perhaps someone deceased many years ago in this hut, and the spirit still lives there…. I dont know.. INTERESTING>>!
