I’ll be there tomorrow..! Westland, NZ

Mandy and were travelling along another of Westlands scenic back roads, when we came across this old tractor resting happily in its retirement.. well maybe semi retirement…

The shed was a little way off the roadside, so as usual with us, scouted around to find the property owner and ask permission to photograph…

Well directly across the road was a farm house, so thought may as well start and try here for permission… some one and a half hours of yarning later, the lovely down to earth lady owner, along with another neighbour who happened along half way through our conversation gave us permission to help ourselves to any photo subject…

We heard that her husband had past years ago along with his brother i do believe,  ( also a partner in the family farm ) and as a result the farm had largely come to a stand still

Mandy and I have found that Westland folks very very friendly and accommodating permissions… (as long as one asks first..! )
