“Newton Livery”…!  Westland, New Zealand 

This Newton Livery homestead still stands over one hundred years from its “hey day” as the original Newton Hotel and Livery, a stage coach horse change over point travelling between Inangahua Junction and Westport and vica versa ..

Closed as a hotel in the 1950’s it became residence to an old fellow horse friend Stephen McGraph  who in his later life time loved to travel the country at a very sedate pace with his team of horses and wagons, often away from home travelling for months at a time..

A true New Zealander who valued his tradition..!
