Many thanks to the run holder who let us in to photograph this amazing piece of Otago history..

Unfortunately it is becoming  in disrepair  however well worth the time we spent here..

Back in the earlier days all the sheep would have been hand blade shorn, as this method leaves a small thickness of wool on the sheep, necessary in event of a snow storm, as these events occur any time of year in the high country..
