Mandy here on Lofty, and myself this time in the Turtons Stream heading for the Comyns hut .. a lovely couple of day easy country trek..

Lofty, pictured here, had been a race horse at one stage, then had a couple of less than ideal owner experiences before Mandy bought him… I remember one horse trekker saying when she first bought him that he would never make a good back country horse…. however…. time and gentle training this opinion voiced has become incorrect..

As one can now see, Lofty loves being out and about, with an interested look on his face, is a fast paced walker, often sees myself on my riding horse constantly lagging behind…lol
