This day we had set out to travel away into the remote hills out from Ranfurly in Central Otago, to hopefully capture photographs of a unique stone building..
Along this trail we happened past this roadside “piece of art” I guess we could call it..Mandy straight away called it ” Can Travel” so the name stuck..lol.!
Looking closely, there is plenty of evidence that this sledge has done a few miles in its day, and I guess the only way to get the milk and cream from the farm dairy to the gate for pick up in snow conditions was this sledge towed by reliable old horse power.. NICE..!
