Out to Pasture…!

We had been in this area photographing imagery of interest, with the camera up on its tripod, when an elderly farmer in his equally elderly of farm truck pulled up to ask what and where etc about what we were up to..

When he heard we were photographers, he said…. Would it be possible to photograph my old wool shed, and send me a copy of such… Yes sure was our reply…

Subsequently in discussion, this mans Grandfather had built this wool shed and along with this chap had sheep farmed on the edge of Wakefield for two generations, however with the encroaching urban spread, his little farm had become uneconomic

The Wool Shed, farm and farmer are all gone today, replaced by a new housing Subdivision..!
